Colossal Youth was founded by Jason Oh in 2014. It began as a vehicle to produce a short film that never saw it’s completion—a fragmented voiceover piece, heavy with the earnest angst and stylized introspection of youth.

It was meant to explore how we mythologize being young, inflate it, weaponize it against ourselves as we age.

Today, Colossal Youth is a creative production company with an ironic name that nods to it’s imperfect beginnings. We are shaped by that same spirit—curious, reflective and drawn to projects that challenge form and refine meaning.
